For my year 2 week 4 bet I'm having $100 on River of Stars at $9.5.

Has a good record over this distance. Finished 4th in the Melbourne Cup last year, and second in the Caufield Cup against much tougher fields. Looking to peak in her prep this weekend.

Draws a decent barrier and gets J Mac on board.

Should go forward and be hard to catch late

Dangers are Mr Monaco, Marine Gun Gracie and Litzdeel.
