For my year 2 week 17 bet I'm having $100 on Portofino at $10.

Has had four runs this prep. Gritty win last start at Rosehill over 1500m. Has won 3/4 this prep.

Drops back to 1350m. Also drops 3.5kg in weight. Gets Ben Thompson aboard, who is riding beautifully recently (12 winners of his last 50 rides).

Should be right up on the speed, as he has been in his last few runs.

Dangers are Smexy, Navy Pilot and Call Da Vinci.
