Week 5 - Mornington - Race 7 - Number 9 - Mary Eliza ($11.00)

For my week 5 bet, I’m putting my $255 on Mary Eliza at $11.

In all three of her career runs to date she has run in the top 3. Her last outing over 1800m at Sandown she was just beaten over the last 50m.

She has won her only race at Mornington over 1500m. She likes to get forward, just off the pace, which suits here as the straight is only 200m.

A number of the favourites in this race like to get further back and run on, and will have to do it the hard way.

At $11 I think she is value.

I think the dangers are Fear No Evil, Moving Out and Sneaky Sunrise
