For my Week 47 bet, I’ve had $100 on Welcometotheshow @ $12.

Backed him for a win 4 weeks ago, and he was superb then, and has done absolutely nothing wrong since. Won again in good time at Randwick 2 weeks ago over 1600m. Is now 3 from 3 over 1600m.

Plenty of speed in the race comes from a bit of tricky draw, but if he gets a nice position in running, he should be doing his best work late and be there in the finish. Hopefully he can go 5 from 5.

Dangers are Regal Zeus, Light Infantry Man and Charterhouse.
