Flemington Race 1 - No 7 - Persian Spirit @$10

For my Week 29 bet, I’ve had $100 on Persian Spirit @ $10.

Wish I had him 3 weeks ago when he won down the straight at Flemington over 1100m and paid $51!!! (instead I had the horse that ran second).

Beat a number of these in that run, got held up between the 400 and 200, still won easily and had a bit in reserve.

Over 1200m now, has a decent record second up, and has won over this distance (and further).

Has drawn wide, but hopefully the track is pretty good out there down the straight.

Harry Coffey sticks, should see him out the back early and doing his best work late.
